    Investment Strategy

We seek to generate superior risk-adjusted returns through the core pillars of private equity investing:

Seek value in specialized businesses where current market perception misprices key assets or businesses

Identify secular, macro and regulatory trends that will allow for outsized growth dynamics

Find opportunities to serve as a value-added partner to management or company founders to
    drive operational improvement

    Efficient Capital

Bring efficient capital solutions to areas where none existed, thereby unlocking value
Our investment approach considers two primary criteria to filter opportunities, the first being a prospective company should be operating in a market where it can achieve high levels of growth and market-rate financial returns. The second criteria is the positive impact the investment can create on environment and resource efficiency.

    Impact / ESG

At GEF Capital Partners we believe that the financial returns and environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations are not mutually exclusive. We know from our experience that superior financial returns more likely stem from pursuing proactive ESG objectives.
    Our approach to ESG considers:

    • Strong environmental and resource efficiency assessment framework
    • Impact evaluation aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
    • Strong ESG processes and procedures
